White label
Also known as: White labelling, Generic product, 화이트 라벨
A standard, unchanged product that a manufacturer sells to many resellers, each of whom puts its own brand on it, with no exclusivity or product customisation.
White label is the fastest and lowest-MOQ way to launch a brand: you pick a stock item and add your logo or label. The trade-off is that identical products appear under many other brands, so competition is on price and listing quality rather than the product itself.
The terms white label and private label are often used loosely. The practical question to ask the supplier is: will anything about this product be exclusive to me? See OEM vs ODM for where each model fits.
