Children's Product Certificate (CPC)
Also known as: CPC, Children's Product Certificate, 어린이제품인증서
A written certificate that US importers or domestic manufacturers of products for children 12 and under must issue, based on tests by a CPSC-accepted third-party laboratory, to certify compliance with applicable safety rules.
The CPC is issued by the US importer, not by the Chinese factory or the lab. It must identify the product, cite each applicable CPSC rule, list the importer and the records contact, the date and place of manufacture, the date and place of testing, and the lab. According to CPSC, from July 8, 2026 importers of most regulated consumer products must also file certificate data electronically with CBP.
A factory's test report is the evidence you build the CPC on; check that the lab is on CPSC's accepted list and that the report covers your exact model. See CE, UKCA, FCC and CPC product certifications.
