FCC ID

FCC rules require most electronic and radio devices to be authorized before they can be imported or sold in the United States. Devices that transmit, such as Bluetooth, Wi-Fi or wireless charging products, usually need certification and carry an FCC ID on their label; the grantee code is assigned permanently to the company that holds the grant.

Before ordering, search the FCC ID in the FCC's equipment authorization database and check that the grantee, photos and model match what the Chinese factory is selling you.
