The China Dieshiqiao International Home Textile City in Nantong's Haimen district recorded more than 150 billion yuan in trade in 2024, making it the world's largest specialised market for bedding. Local officials say Haimen accounts for over half of China's home-textile market and over 80% of online sales in the category, producing more than 1.2 billion pieces a year. The market covers more than 1.5 million square meters and has over 15,000 shops carrying some 600 brands. Most of the supply is duvet sets, quilts and pillows, from budget polyester to cotton and silk-filled lines.

Buyer tips
- Dieshiqiao is built for e-commerce volume: many sellers will do small mixed orders of stock designs, but printed or custom-size bedding usually needs a fabric run of a few thousand meters per print.
- Thread count, GSM and fibre content are the most frequently misstated specs; check them with a lab test, especially 'cotton' sets that are actually polycotton or brushed microfibre.
- Filled products (duvets, pillows) are the risk area: check fill weight, down/feather ratio and cleanliness, and for the US confirm state law labels and 16 CFR 1632/1633 flammability rules where they apply. For the EU, get REACH test reports (azo dyes, formaldehyde).
- Oversized, light cartons make freight a big share of landed cost, so ask suppliers about vacuum-packing quilts and pillows before you calculate CBM.
