REACH
Also known as: REACH Regulation, Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006, EU 화학물질 규정
The EU regulation (EC) No 1907/2006 on the registration, evaluation, authorisation and restriction of chemicals, which also limits hazardous substances in consumer products sold in the EU.
Most importers of finished goods from China deal with two parts of REACH: restrictions (Annex XVII limits on specific substances in specific products) and Candidate List substances of very high concern (SVHCs). If an article contains a Candidate List SVHC above 0.1% by weight, EU suppliers must pass on safe-use information and answer consumer requests within 45 days.
Unlike CE, REACH has no mark. Ask for test reports against the Annex XVII entries relevant to your product and an SVHC screening against the current Candidate List. See CE, UKCA, FCC and CPC product certifications.
