Yiwu International Trade City
Also known as: Yiwu Futian Market, China Commodity City, 义乌国际商贸城, 이우 국제상무성
The main wholesale market complex in Yiwu, Zhejiang, where tens of thousands of booths sell small commodities such as toys, jewellery, stationery, hardware and household goods.
The Trade City grew from five districts (roughly 75,000 booths by official figures) and added a sixth-generation market, the Global Digital Trade Center, in October 2025; each district groups particular product categories. Many booths are showrooms for factories elsewhere in Zhejiang and neighbouring provinces, while others are traders; MOQs are often lower than factory MOQs and several vendors' goods can be combined in one shipment.
Prices on booth cards are starting points, and quality varies between booths selling similar items. Record booth numbers, take photos and get samples before ordering. Read the Yiwu International Trade City guide.
