Yiwu International Trade City — District 4

义乌国际商贸城四区

District 4 officially opened on 21 October 2008 and is the largest single building in the Trade City. It is dominated by soft goods: socks, hats, gloves, scarves, belts, towels, underwear and a wide range of household daily necessities. It suits fashion-accessory sellers, discount and variety stores, and anyone bundling cheap everyday items. Pricing is highly competitive and many booths accept assorted colours within one carton, but quality varies widely from booth to booth, so compare samples side by side.

Buyer tips

  • Walk the whole floor for your category before committing — dozens of near-identical booths compete on price and quality.
  • Ask for fibre composition labels and care labels that meet your market's rules; many default products lack them.
  • Seasonal items (scarves, gloves, hats) are ordered months ahead; summer is the time to place winter orders.
  • District 4 is very large — plan your route by floor and street number and wear comfortable shoes.

Getting there

Within the Trade City complex, connected to Districts 3 and 5. Buses such as 801 and 109 are listed for District 4 (confirm current routes); taxis/ride-hailing are easy from Yiwu station.
