- Toys sold in the US and EU need CPSIA/ASTM F963 or EN71 testing plus REACH checks; Dongguan toy factories are used to this but always get reports for your specific SKU and ask for Disney/brand-audit history (FAMA, ICTI Ethical Toy Program) if selling to retailers.
- Collectible vinyl and resin figures involve paint masks and moulds, so expect MOQs of 1,000+ per design and tooling costs up front; negotiate mould ownership in writing.
