Yongkang makes more than 600 million vacuum flasks a year, about 80% of China's output, and in the first half of 2024 it accounted for roughly 70% of China's flask exports, according to Jiemian News (2025). Known as China's hardware capital, the county-level city also has more than 800 door manufacturers, more than 300 smart-lock makers and a large power-tool sector. Many flask factories do OEM work for Western drinkware brands, so private-label buyers can find experienced suppliers. The annual China Hardware Expo in Yongkang brings together more than 1,500 exhibitors.

Buyer tips
- For flasks and tumblers, ask for 304 or 316 stainless steel mill certificates and food-contact test reports (FDA/LFGB), and check lids and seals separately because they are often made by sub-suppliers.
- Flask factories range from export OEM plants making for global drinkware brands to small workshops competing on price; the cheapest quotes often come with thinner walls, weak vacuum retention or unstable coatings, so do a heat-retention test on samples.
- Power tools, e-scooters and electrical hardware need CE/UKCA or UL/ETL certification and, for battery products, UN38.3; confirm the certificate is issued to the factory you are buying from, not just to the model.
- Custom printing, laser engraving and colour-matched powder coating are routinely available, but MOQs for custom colours are typically higher than for stock colours; plan around the busy pre-Christmas production season.
