China Science & Technology Hardware City (Yongkang)
中国科技五金城（永康）
Yongkang is a long-established hardware manufacturing town, and its China Science & Technology Hardware City, first built in 1992 and expanded in 2004, is China's largest specialised hardware market. It is also the venue for the annual China Hardware Expo, held every September since 1996. It suits tool distributors, DIY and home-improvement retailers, and buyers of cookware, doors and locks. Most sellers are linked to local factories, so it is a good base for factory visits and custom production.

Buyer tips
- Visit during the China Hardware Expo in late September to see the widest range of manufacturers.
- Power tools need electrical safety certification for your market; confirm before sampling.
- Yongkang is about 30–45 minutes by road from Yiwu — easy to add to a Yiwu trip.
Getting there
Drive or take a train/bus from Yiwu or Jinhua; Yongkang South high-speed rail station is nearby.
